Gerie Keh, owner of Acupuncture Family HealthCare Clinic was born and raised in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. She had five years formal training at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the five earliest established public universities of China, major in Acupuncture and Tui Na. She was a 2-time winner of People’s Award for Outstanding remarks and her graduation thesis was published in Shanghai Physical Education Science Daily in 1992. Her passion of clinical research started there.
June 1990, she graduated with bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM. Worked at Wu Song Central Hospital as a Traumatologist for four years, immigrated to US in December 1994. Longing for giving her medical knowledge to the community motivated her to pursue medical field continues.
February 1997, she passed California Acupuncture Board test, granted her as a California Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac)
June 1999 to July 2004, she received multilevel of Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) training and implemented the technique into practice with great success. Areas including food and environmental allergies, pain, infertility, Autism, emotional imbalance, menopause and insomnia, etc.
January 2009, she received her doctor degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, ACTCM, in San Francisco, California, focus on Pain Management and Women’s Health. Her capstone “Acupuncture treatment for Primary Dysmenorrhea” was selected as an outstanding research project and was invited to Twin City, Minnesota for presentation in August 2009.
October 2017, she received Applied Clinical Nutritionist Certification from Southern California University of Health Sciences
